NUTRITION
Eating the right foods plays a major part in looking and feeling our best. It is therefore essential to follow a balanced diet incorporating the right amount of the different food groups available.
These food groups are as follows:
Protein ( fish, poultry, eggs, nuts)
Carbohydrates (cereals, bread, rice, pasta)
Fats (unsaturated, found naturally in most meats)
Water
Fibre (wholemeal’s, fruit & vegetables)
Eat small meals through the day.
Eating small regular meals keeps your metabolism ticking over and is a much better way to burn off calories than one or two large meals a day.
In other words you must eat the proper quantity of foods in order to stay healthy and in shape.
For example an ideal evening meal would be a portion of fish or chicken, served with vegetables. Of course there are allowances for a day in the week for a night out and a bottle of wine but we have to be sensible and moderate our treats.
I will construct the right eating plan for any individual and monitor carefully any problems to be rectified.
