CORE STABILITY
Modern life for most of us has mean't a steady reduction in physical activity and an increasing sedentary lifestyle. This has been due to a decrease in manual labour, the increase in labour-saving devices and the rise of more passive entertainments such as computers and television. Unfortunately this means that once strong muscle systems around our abdominals that helped us maintain good posture and movement while helping us avoid injury, have grown weak through lack of use and exercise. In other words we have reduced our "core stability".

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
In order to bring back strength and tone to this area we must go through a range of exercises and movements using the lower back, abdominals and deep core muscles around the torso. These muscles will effectively act like a corset around the trunk taking the pressure off the back and pulling all the other abdominal muscles into place.
